Breast Augmentation in Thailand

This article was medically reviewed by Lt. Cmdr. JATUPORN SUESAT, M.D. (Dr. Aun) , DITSAYANIN THAWEETHANATSIT, M.D. and SUNISA THONGPRAYOON, M.D.

Today, there are several breast augmentation methods available, including silicone implants, fat grafting (fat transfer), or a hybrid approach that combines both methods.

The most crucial step is an evaluation by an experienced surgeon to choose which method best suits your goals. Aspects such as implant size, type, shape, and the surgical method used directly impact the beauty, safety, and long-term harmony of the results.

You are welcome to book a free consultation at Rattinan Clinic for a detailed assessment. Our expert surgeons will help you discover the ideal shape and method to achieve your unique goals.

What is Breast Augmentation?

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to enhance size and refine breast shape. By using implants or fat grafting, methods globally recognized as the gold standard in aesthetic surgery, we achieve beautiful proportions that harmonize with your unique physique.

Breast augmentation is about more than just size; it is a solution for various concerns that can affect your self-confidence, such as:

  • Small or flat chest
  • Breast Asymmetry
  • Sagging breasts due to age or post-pregnancy

Breast Augmentation can result in increasing fullness to your desired size while prioritizing anatomical balance to ensure beautiful and natural results.

We refine the breast shape to correct issues like flatness, wide gaps, or asymmetry to enhance proportions in terms of curvature, lift, and overall symmetry.

Who is Breast Augmentation for?

Breast Augmentation is a surgical procedure that enhances both the size and shape of the breasts to achieve beautiful proportions that complement each individual’s frame.

Beyond aesthetics, it also addresses structural and physical concerns. So, breast augmentation is ideal for those looking to address the following concerns:

  1. Individuals with naturally small breasts (Micromastia)

If you have had a naturally small or flat chest since your early development, breast augmentation can help define your curves and enhance your feminine silhouette.

  1. Postpartum mothers experiencing loss of breast volume

This for those who previously had fuller breasts but experienced a loss of volume after breastfeeding or weight loss, leaving the skin looking “deflated.” Silicone implants help “refill” this lost volume (Volume Replacement), restoring the firm, youthful appearance you had prior to having children.

  1. Individuals with “visibly asymmetrical” breasts

It means one breast is significantly larger than the other (Asymmetry) or the shapes are entirely different. The surgeon will select different implant sizes for each side to “balance” both breasts, ensuring the final results are perfectly balanced and symmetrical.

  1. Individuals with irregular breast shapes (Tuberous Breasts)

Tubular Breasts is a condition characterized by a cylindrical shape, a narrow base, or an abnormally large areola, typically caused by genetics. Breast augmentation combined with specialized reshaping methods can reshape the breasts into a fuller, more naturally rounded contour.

  1. Individuals with drastic weight loss

When losing a large amount of weight, the breast fat which is a primary component is often lost as well, leaving the breasts looking flat and sagging. Breast augmentation helps restore your confidence and brings back a healthy, well-proportioned silhouette.

  1. Individuals who want breast reconstruction

For individuals who have undergone breast surgery for medical reasons, such as a mastectomy, breast augmentation can recreate the shape and restore natural volume. This creates a well-proportioned silhouette that helps patients regain their confidence.

  1. Individuals seeking gender-affirming Breast Augmentation

Whether it is Feminizing Mammoplasty, the specific medical term for surgical breast enhancement to create a feminine appearance, or MTF Breast Augmentation (Male-to-Female), these procedures are important steps in aligning one’s physical appearance with their gender identity. Breast augmentation helps create balanced body proportions and significantly boosts self-confidence.

Because every breast augmentation case is unique, a detailed evaluation by an expert surgeon ensures you achieve the most suitable, safe, and natural-looking results. Our surgeons will recommend the specific size and method tailored to your unique body. If you are wondering whether breast augmentation is right for you, a consultation at Rattinan Clinic is the first step toward achieving a beautiful, safe outcome that truly restores your confidence.

Additionally, if you are in good health with no underlying conditions that could interfere with surgery, and your desire for breast augmentation is for yourself, not to please others.

  • Realistic Understanding: You are aware that breast implants have a lifespan (though they can last for decades but periodic check-ups are required), and you understand that the procedure will result in surgical incisions.
  • Recovery Commitment: You can allocate 5–7 days for recovery and are able to refrain from strenuous activities and heavy lifting as suggested by your surgeon.

Who Is Not Suitable for Breast Augmentation?

Breast Augmentation is a decision that requires both clear understanding and personal readiness. If your physical structure is not suitable, this surgery may not be the best solution. For example:

  • Individuals with very little breast tissue and extremely thin skin: If an oversized implant is used, it can lead to “Rippling” where the edges of the implant or visible waves appear beneath the skin. This creates an unnatural look that can be difficult to correct.
  • Individuals with a severe sunken chest or pigeon chest: Because of the underlying bone deformity, the implants may cause the implants to shift, appear wider apart, or look asymmetrical.
  • Individuals with extreme concern over scarring: Surgery inevitably results in an incision. Even with a surgeon’s expert method to hide the marks, if you cannot accept the presence of any scar at all, breast augmentation may not be the right choice for you.

How Many Breast Augmentation Methods Are There?

There are currently 3 Breast Augmentation methods available:

  1. Breast Augmentation with silicone implants offers a clear increase in volume with immediate results. You can choose a specific shape and size that perfectly complements your body type.
  2. Fat Grafting (Fat Transfer) involves harvesting fat from other areas of the body and injecting it into the breasts to achieve a soft, natural shape. This method is for someone who wants to slightly enhance volume with a shorter recovery time.
  3. Hybrid Breast Augmentation (silicone with Fat Transfer) combines silicone implants to increase size, then performs fat grafting to refine the shape and details. It creates a soft, natural look while minimizing the visibility of rippling, making it the perfect choice for individuals who want to increase the size without sacrificing a natural appearance.

The difference between these 3 methods is the materials used for increasing breast volume. Each method offers unique benefits tailored to different needs. Of course, choosing the right method requires a consultation with an expert surgeon to ensure a result that is beautiful, safe, and perfectly suited to your physique.

How Breast Augmentation with Silicone Implants Works

Breast augmentation with silicone implants is a surgical procedure to increase size and refine shape, achieving balance for your body. Patients can select a size and shape that perfectly complements their unique body frames.

Types of Silicone Breast Implants

Choosing the shape and type of silicone breast implant significantly affects the final result, specifically an aesthetic appearance and a natural feel.

  1. Round Implants

Round implants are a perfect choice for individuals with a flat chest or slight sagging. They are also ideal for those who already have some breast tissue but desire more fullness. The advantage of round implants is that they provide immediate volume and a more noticeable look. The result is a beautifully contoured, full breast, particularly in the upper pole.

  1. Teardrop Implants

Teardrop implants are suitable for individuals with less breast tissue or the desire to have natural-looking breasts. The advantage of teardrop implants is their natural-looking shape, which provides a gentle curve from top to bottom like a teardrop. This creates a result that looks subtle and well-proportioned.

  1. Ergonomix Implants (Motiva Ergonomix)

Motiva Ergonomix is an ergonomic silicone implant featuring highly flexible gel that moves naturally with your body. It mimics the feel and responsiveness of natural breast tissue, offering a soft and subtle look. This method is ideal for those seeking perfect balance in both shape and sensation, providing a high level of natural-looking results.

How Does Implant Texture Affect Breast Augmentation Results?

Breast augmentation using silicone implants is more than just size and shape. The surface texture of the implant also plays a crucial role in the aesthetic result, natural feel, and long-term safety. Each type of silicone has a unique texture designed to suit different needs and individual body types.

  1. Smooth Surface Implants

These implants have a soft, slick surface, allowing for fluid movement and a softer, more realistic feel that closely mimics natural breast tissue.

  1. Textured Surface Implants

These implants feature a slightly rough surface that helps them stay securely in place by adhering to your natural tissue. This helps lower the risk of developing Capsular Contracture. They provide a consistent shape and prevent the implant from shifting, making them perfect for those who want secure, long-lasting results.

  1. Nano Textured or Velvet Surface Implants

This texture sits perfectly between smooth and textured surfaces, often referred to as Velvet Surface. The advantage is a significantly reduced risk of capsular contracture while maintaining a soft, natural feel. It offers the best of both worlds: safety and aesthetics. The result is a breast that moves with the natural motion, ideal for those who want a soft, full, and highly realistic appearance.

Why Does the Position of Your Breast Implant Matter?

The implant placement method is carefully selected by your surgeon to ensure an aesthetic shape and to minimize the risk of capsular contracture.

  1. Above the Muscle (Subglandular)

It offers a quicker recovery and a more pronounced, rounder shape. This method works beautifully for those with sufficient breast tissue and fat to conceal the implant edges.

  1. Under the Muscle (Submuscular)

This method creates a softer, more natural look and helps lower the risk of capsular contracture. It is particularly effective for individuals with minimal tissue, as it ensures the implant remains well-hidden.

  1. Partially Beneath the Muscle (Dual Plane/Hybrid)

It combines the benefits of both methods (the upper part is under the muscle, while the lower part is above). It offers a highly natural silhouette and minimizes visible rippling, making it ideal for those seeking a highly natural look and a lower risk of silicone complications.

How to Choose the Right Breast Implants for Your Dream Results

Choosing breast augmentation in Thailand is a significant decision that requires a deep understanding of your options, especially the choice of silicone implants, which is at the heart of a beautiful and safe result. It requires a careful evaluation of gel integrity, safety certifications, surface texture, and anatomical compatibility.

Taking the time to research thoroughly will ensure a result that is both naturally stunning and provides long-term confidence.

Which Brand Should You Choose? Key Factors to Consider

Today’s market offers many implant brands, each with its own standout features. When choosing, prioritize brands with global standards like FDA or CE clearance and a proven safety record. High-quality implants should feature a flexible, resilient structure and a durable outer layer for long-term safety. Also, the brand should have a variety of products to ensure a perfect fit for your specific body.

  1. Motiva

Motiva stands as the most popular brand in the breast augmentation industry. Utilizing advanced manufacturing technology, their implants feature high-density cohesive gel and safety-certified textures. Their unique point is the Ergonomix technology, which allows the implant to shift and adapt its shape in harmony with the body’s natural movement. The result is an exceptionally soft, subtle appearance that mimics natural breast tissue more closely than any other option. It is no surprise that Motiva has become the top choice trusted by leading surgeons worldwide.

  1. Mentor

Mentor is a legendary name in the breast augmentation industry, recognized globally for over a decade. Its reputation is built on a proven track record of quality and safety trusted by millions of people worldwide. The silicone is designed to provide a full, soft feel with a highly natural appearance. By continuously evolving its innovations in safety and natural aesthetics, Mentor remains a premier brand that surgeons and patients consistently rely on.

Breast Fat Grafting (Autologous Fat Transfer)

Fat Transfer Augmentation is a silicone-free approach to enhancing breast volume. This procedure utilizes excess fat harvested from your own body, typically from the abdomen, hips, or thighs, through liposuction. Once the fat is purified, it is injected into the breasts to add volume and refine the overall contour for a beautiful, natural-looking result.

By using your own tissue, this method provides a truly authentic result that  mimics the shape, movement, and feel of natural breasts more closely than any other method.

Is it Possible to Choose Your Size with Fat Transfer in the Same Way as Implants?

In general, fat transfer does not allow for the same level of sizing freedom as silicone implants. This is because the amount of fat that can successfully survive and integrate depends on each individual’s unique anatomy. Typically, this method increases the volume by about 0.5 to 1 cup size. For those desiring a larger size, the procedure may need to be repeated or performed as a Hybrid Breast Augmentation, which uses both an implant and your own fat.

How Much Fat Is Needed for A Fat Transfer?

The amount of fat needed depends on your current body shape and original breast size. Generally, the doctor will harvest about 200–400 cc per side to ensure there’s enough high-quality fat to work with. This fat is then purified and filtered to keep only the best cells for the transfer. In the end, the amount actually injected into the breasts usually lands between 150–250 cc per side, depending on your unique body proportions.

Benefits of Fat Grafting Breast Augmentation

  • It offers the most natural look, mimicking the shape and texture of natural breasts almost perfectly.
  • No foreign substances. Because it uses your own tissue, it’s perfect if you have concerns about silicone implants.
  • In addition to breast enhancement, you get the added benefit of dual body contouring, as we harvest excess fat from areas like the abdomen, hips, or thighs.
  • You’ll have very tiny incisions, as it only requires tiny entry points for both harvesting and injecting the fat.
  • Lower risk of an allergic reaction since you use your own fat.

Things to Consider Before Deciding

  • The size increase is limited, usually around 0.5–1 cup, which may not meet your goals if you want a dramatic transformation.
  • You must have enough excess fat to harvest, so this method may be unsuitable for very slim individuals.
  • About 30–40% of the fat may be naturally reabsorbed within 3–6 months, leading to a slight decrease from the initial volume.
  • Multiple sessions may be required if you want to gradually build up to a larger size.
  • The procedure requires high surgical expertise to ensure the fat survives, settles evenly, and avoids the risk of hard lumps.

Should You Choose Fat Grafting or Silicone Implants?

The choice between fat grafting and silicone implants depends on your desired look and your unique body.

  • If you want a natural look with a subtle size increase

Fat grafting is likely your best fit. By using your own natural fat, the result is incredibly soft and authentic with no foreign substances. You’ll enjoy a quick recovery of just 3–5 days and the added benefit of slimming down areas like your abdomen, hips, or thighs. However, keep in mind that this method typically adds about one cup size, requires sufficient donor fat, and may need 1–2 touch-ups as the body naturally absorbs 30–40% of the fat.

  • If you want a significant, well-defined transformation

Silicone implants are the better solution. This method allows you to increase your size by 2 cups or more, with various shapes available to achieve your perfect look instantly. The results are permanent without the need for touch-ups, making it perfect for those with very little natural breast tissue. This is a major surgery requiring 1–2 weeks of recovery and leaves a small scar (2–3 cm). For very slim patients, the implants may feel slightly firmer compared to natural fat.

  • If you want both volume and a natural feel

The Hybrid Breast Augmentation method offers the best of both worlds. We use a silicone implant to provide the base volume and then layer your own fat over the edges and cleavage. This creates a soft, natural finish and is perfect for slim patients who want a larger size but want to avoid visible implant edges or rippling.

At Rattinan Clinic, we offer all 3 options. You can consult with our surgeons to evaluate which method will deliver the best results for your body.

Hybrid Breast Augmentation Methods

The Hybrid method works by combining the use of silicone and fat grafting through the following steps:

  1. First, silicone implants are placed to create the desired size and foundational structure of the breast.
  2. Next, natural fat is harvested and purified from areas with excess fat, such as the abdomen, thighs, or hips.
  3. Then, inject the fat around the edges of the implant, particularly at the top, to soften the shape and create a smooth, rounded transition.

This method delivers a balanced result, combining the fullness of silicone with the natural touch of your own fat.

The Advantages of Hybrid Breast Augmentation

  • Fat grafting ensures the upper breast area appears full and soft, creating a natural contour that avoids the stiff look sometimes associated with implants alone.
  • The Hybrid method provides a smooth and seamless cover that is ideal for slim patients with thin breast tissue who are at risk of visible implant edges or rippling.
  • While implants provide the necessary volume, the addition of fat grafting enhances upper pole fullness for a more rounded and three-dimensional shape.
  • This method effectively corrects asymmetry and wide cleavage by allowing for precise fat placement to create a more balanced and aesthetic appearance.
  • Patients achieve a better overall silhouette by removing stubborn fat from areas like the abdomen or hips to enhance the breasts, delivering two results in a single procedure.

Who is Hybrid Augmentation for?

  • Very slim individuals or those with thin breast tissue, who are at risk of visible implant edges when using implants alone.
  • Individuals who want breasts that feel natural to the touch while still achieving a significantly larger size.
  • Individuals who are concerned about their breasts feeling too firm or appearing unnaturally shaped from silicone implants.
  • Individuals who already have implants but feel the upper area is too flat and want to achieve a softer, fuller look.
  • Individuals who have a sufficient amount of excess body fat available for harvesting and transfer.
  • Individuals who want to refine specific details, such as correcting breast asymmetry or narrowing a wide cleavage.

Where Will Incisions Be after Breast Augmentation?

To place breast implants safely and effectively, a surgical incision is necessary. Your surgeon will choose a place that ensures the best results with the quickest recovery time.

The 3 most common incision sites are under the breast fold, through the armpit, or around the nipple area.

Under the breast fold (Inframammary)

This involves a 3 to 4 cm incision placed discreetly in the fold under the breast.

On the upside, it allows for highly accurate implant positioning along with a quicker and less painful recovery. It is also considered a safer option for preserving nerve sensation and milk duct function while lowering the risk of complications like implant displacement or capsular contracture.  On the downside, the scar remains on the breast area and might appear red or prominent at first. The patient must be diligent with their scar care routine to achieve the best aesthetic outcome.

Under the armpit (Axillary)

This approach involves a small incision hidden within the natural folds of the armpit and is performed using endoscopic camera assistance.

The primary advantage is that it leaves no scars on the breasts whatsoever, making it an ideal choice for patients who are concerned about visible surgical marks on the chest. The downsides include the fact that it is more challenging to control the precise placement of the implant, which can lead to a longer recovery time and more persistent discomfort compared to other methods.

There is also a higher risk of the implants shifting, creating a wide gap between the breasts, or developing capsular contracture.

Additionally, the scar may be visible when you raise your arms, and if revision surgery is required in the future, surgeons typically need to create a new incision under the breast fold regardless.

Around the nipple (Periareolar)

It involves the surgical incision along the border of the areola, where the skin tone changes.

The advantage is that the scar tends to blend into the edge of the nipple area, making it very well hidden.  The downsides include certain risks, as it can potentially affect the milk ducts and the nerves responsible for nipple sensation.

There is also a slightly higher risk of infection because the surgery involves working through or near the milk duct system. Additionally, the scar may be noticeable upon close inspection, and this approach is only suitable for patients whose areolas are large enough to accommodate the incision.

Why Rattinan Clinic Chooses The Inframammary Incision for Breast Augmentation?

Because it is the safest place to perform breast augmentation. We can control the silicone position precisely, lower the risk of implant displacement, and care for scar treatment. Our surgeons prioritize safety and long-term results; that’s why we go with this method.

Does Breast Augmentation Help with Breast Lifting?

“Does Breast Augmentation help with breast lifting?”This is one of the questions women ask. Especially for those concerned about their breasts appearing saggy or losing their original firmness. Many people want to know if simply adding silicone implants can effectively resolve these issues.

While the main goal of breast augmentation is to increase volume and size, silicone implants can effectively help breasts with mild sagging appear firmer, more toned, and beautifully shaped. This is because the added volume fills out the breast tissue, which naturally creates a subtle lifting effect for a firmer overall look.

However, it is essential to evaluate the degree of sagging before making a decision because silicone implants alone are only effective in specific cases. This approach works best in specific cases. For example:

  • Mild breast sagging
  • The nipples are still positioned above the breast fold.
  • There is sufficient breast tissue for the implant to provide a natural lift.

In cases of severe sagging, such as:

  • The nipples are positioned lower than the breast fold.
  • the upper pole of the breast is significantly hollow.
  • There is excessive skin laxity.

In these cases, silicone augmentation alone will not provide a natural-looking lift, and the results may not meet your aesthetic expectations.

Typically, surgeons recommend Breast Lift in combination with silicone implants to ensure the breasts are properly elevated, firm, and well-proportioned once again.

What to Prepare before Breast Augmentation in Thailand

Preparation for breast augmentation is as follows:

  • Consult with a surgeon and schedule your procedure date.
  • Stop all vitamins, supplements, smoking, and alcohol 2 weeks prior to surgery.
  • Undergo a pre-operative health screening (free complimentary service at Rattinan Clinic).
  • No food or water for 6–8 hours before surgery.

How To Take Care of Yourself after Breast Augmentation in Thailand

After your breast augmentation, taking the right steps will help you achieve the beautiful results you want while ensuring a safe and fast recovery. Here’s a guide on how to care for yourself at every stage:

  • The first 7 days post-surgery are the most critical for rest.

Your chest will feel very tight, often described as a heavy pressure on the chest that may make deep breathing feel slightly restricted. Your breasts will appear swollen, the skin may look firm and shiny, and some purple bruising is common. It is also normal for the implants to sit high and feel unnaturally firm at this stage. To manage this, you have to keep your head elevated at a 45-degree angle while sleeping, avoid lifting heavy objects or straining your arms, and wear your support bra 24/7. Most importantly, complete your full course of prescribed medication to prevent infection.

  • 2 weeks – 1 month post-surgery, you will start feeling much more comfortable.

Pain, bruising, and swelling will reduce, though some asymmetry is normal. You might feel a tingling or pins-and-needles sensation, which indicates nerve regeneration. While you can return to desk work, refrain from heavy lifting and high-impact exercise.

  • 2-3 months post-surgery, your breasts will begin to settle into their final shape.

This is the highly anticipated “Drop and Fluff” phase. During this time, the implants will settle into a more natural position; the upper fullness will soften, while the lower pole becomes more rounded and defined. As the muscles relax, your breasts will feel much softer and lose the firm ball appearance from the early stages. Any numbness will begin to fade as sensation returns to the nipples. You may now begin light exercise and start breast massages as specifically instructed by your surgeon.

  • A year post-surgery

After one year, your breasts will achieve their most natural shape, with a gentle, natural-looking slope. They will feel soft to the touch, similar to natural breast tissue, and your surgical scars will have faded significantly, becoming nearly invisible.

Essential care for your recovery

Wear your support bra 24/7 during the first month to secure the implants in place and minimize swelling. Proper sleeping posture is critical; you must sleep on your back for at least 6 weeks. Avoid sleeping on your stomach or side, as this can cause the implants to shift. To promote healing, maintain a high-protein diet, and stay well-hydrated. Finally, refrain from alcohol and smoking for at least 2–4 weeks, and avoid seafood during the first 1–2 weeks.

Warning signs that require immediate medical attention

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience a high fever, chills, or if your breasts become unusually red, hot, or swollen. Other warning signs include pus or discharge from the incision, wound separation, or abnormal hardening of the breast.

At Rattinan Clinic, we provide a comprehensive Aftercare Program designed for every stage of your recovery. Frequently Asked Questions about Breast Augmentation in Thailand

How Long Does Breast Augmentation Stay?

Breast Augmentation with silicone implants can stay more than 10 years and lifetime. 5 years after the surgery, you can get your breasts checked by the Rattinan Clinic just like when you get a medical check-up at a hospital.

Is There Any Chance That Silicones Will Rupture?

It’s unlikely because silicone gel is designed to have high density and flexibility. However, there is a warranty (since before a surgery) so you can fix them according to a specified period.

Can Breast Augmentation with Silicone Implants Cause Breast Cancer?

There’s no evidence that it can increase risk in Breast Cancer development because silicones used in the process are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which mentions that they’re safe and harmless to health.

Does Too Big Breast Augmentation Have Disadvantages?

Of course! It can cause health problems such as back pain, muscle pain, and etc. However, you can have revision surgery to reduce size.

What causes Double Bubble Deformity of the Breast?

It is a complication where the implant sits below the natural breast fold, or the natural breast tissue sags downward. It creates a second distinct crease or “bubble” underneath the breast. This can happen when a surgeon doesn’t understand a patient’s body shape so they perform an inappropriate surgery method. Now, there is a Dual Plane method that helps reshape the breasts for a more beautiful and contoured appearance.

Can I get a cancer screening (mammogram) if I already have breast implants?

Yes, you can. Just tell the officer that you have silicone implants so they can perform appropriate methods for you.

What Are the Signs That You Might Need Breast Revision Surgery?

When there are common issues such as capsular contracture causing abnormal firmness, implant rupture/leakage, and silicone displacement. Additionally, if you are unsatisfied with the results, revision surgery can be performed to change the size, reshape the breast, or reposition the implants for a more optimal outcome.

How Long Is the Recovery after Breast Augmentation?

The pain will improve in 1-2 weeks so you can do some light activities. However, it will take 3-6 months for your breast implants to soften and reach their optimal aesthetic shape.

Can I Breastfeed after Breast Augmentation?

In most cases, yes, you can breastfeed. This is because the implant is typically placed beneath the mammary glands or the muscle, which does not directly interfere with the milk ducts.

What Do I Need to Know as Someone Who Lifts Heavy and Does Chest Workout?

For bodybuilders or those who engage in intense chest training, placing implants “under the muscle” can cause the implants to shift or distort when the chest muscles are flexed (a condition known as Animation Deformity). So, it is important to discuss your lifestyle with your surgeon to choose the most appropriate placement method.

Can I Have Breast Augmentation Although I Plan on Having A Baby?

If you plan on having a baby soon, it is better to “wait for now.” During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the skin expands significantly. Once you stop breastfeeding, the breasts may sag or lose their shape. For the best value and long-term results, it is highly recommended to wait until you have finished having children.

How Long Do I Have to Take Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Before Breast Augmentation?

It is generally recommended to be on HRT for at least 1–2 years to allow your natural breast tissue to develop first. This process helps the skin expand and prepare for the implant. The result will look much softer and more natural than if the augmentation was performed before the breast tissue had fully developed.
